Advantages of ripstop are the favourable strength-to-weight ratio and that small tears cannot easily spread. It also allows the material to be lighter without losing any strength. This multi-function item has eyelets on the hem for use as a shelter or ground sheet, and press studs on the sides allowing you to use it as a sleeping bag cover or even a poncho or basha. When worn as a poncho the press studs down the side allow you to make arm openings “sleeves”. This allows full use of the arms. One size fits all. 100% waterproof ripstop nylon.
